During the freeze

Parking sucked, traffic sucked, nightlife sucked. There were some forms of life here and there. Those who managed to get out on foot, made the best of it. Downtown was the place to be. The Bars got plenty of business from those who were racked with cabin fever. Stores? Not so much. there was never enough of ANYTHING in supply. Snowshovels became a valuable commodity. In such short supply, those with shovels were seen as sexy. I wasn't even able to GET to Canton until a week after the snow had fallen, and even then, barely enough of the roadways were clear enough to park. Most of the city had to dig out on their own. Cabin fever is evil.
